1. Liquid crystal display (LCD) should prevent the application of DC voltage:

The smaller the DC component of the driving voltage,the better.The maximum is not more than 50mV.If the DC component is too large for a long time,electrolysis and electrode aging will occur,thus reducing the life.

2. Liquid crystal display (LCD) should prevent ultraviolet irradiation:

Liquid crystal and polarizer are organic matter,in the ultraviolet irradiation will occur photochemical reaction,deterioration,so in the LCD device assembly should be based on its use and use of the environment to consider whether the need to be installed in front of the UV filter or other UV prevention methods,use should also avoid long time of direct sunlight.

3. Liquid crystal display (LCD) should prevent harmful gas erosion:

Liquid crystal and polarizer is organic matter,chemical reaction,deterioration in the environment of harmful gases,so in use should take harmful gas isolation measures,in addition,after the assembly of the whole machine,do not carry out a long time sealed storage,in order to prevent plastic shell and circuit board cleaning agent chemical gas concentration is too large damage to the liquid crystal and polarizer.

4. Liquid crystal display device is made of two pieces of glass,between them only 5~10um, very thin.And the inner surface of the glass is coated with a layer of directional film,it is easy to destroy.So we should also pay attention to the following points:

①The surface of the liquid crystal device can not add too much pressure,so as not to destroy the directional layer.If the pressure is too large or the device is pressed by hand in the assembly process,it needs to stand for an hour and then power on.

②Remember not to have drastic temperature changes in the process of power-on.

③The pressure of the device should be uniform,only press the edge of the device,not press the middle,and can not tilt force.

5.Because the liquid crystal state will disappear beyond a certain temperature range,so it must be stored and used in the specified temperature range.The temperature is too high,the liquid crystal state disappears,becomes liquid,the display surface is black,can not work,please note that at this time do not power,such as the temperature can be restored after the reduction.If the temperature gets too low,the liquid crystals begin to freeze,causing permanent damage.In addition,the LCD will produce bubbles when it is stored at the limit temperature for a long time or subjected to vibration and shock.

6. Prevent glass breakage: since the display device is made of glass,if it falls,the glass will certainly break,so the filter assembly method and the vibration and impact resistance of the assembly must be tested in the design of the whole machine.

7. Moisture-proof devices:Due to low voltage and micro power consumption of liquid crystal display devices,the resistivity of liquid crystal materials is very high (up to 1X1010Ω or more).Therefore,due to the humidity caused by the conductive surface of the glass may make the device in the display,the phenomenon of “string” between sections,so the design of the machine must consider moisture-proof.Usually,try to place in the temperature of 5~30℃, humidity 65% conditions.

8. Prevent static electricity:The control and drive voltage in the module is very low,micro power consumption CMOS circuit,it is easy to be broken down by static electricity,static electricity breakdown is a kind of damage that can not be repaired,and the human body may sometimes produce up to tens of volts or hundreds of volts of static electricity,so,in the assembly,operation and use should be extremely careful,must be strictly anti-static electricity.

Do not use the hand to touch the outside lead,circuit board above the circuit and metal frame.The soldering iron used for welding and the electric tools used for assembly must be well connected to the ground without leakage of electricity.Static electricity may also be produced when the air is dry.

9. Liquid crystal display device cleaning treatment:because the liquid crystal surface for plastic polaroid and reflector,so the assembly,storage should avoid scratches dirty.In addition,there is a protective film on the front polarizer,which can be removed when used.
